Cardio Tennis

It’s not just singles & doubles anymore… Cardio Tennis is considered the “third” way to play tennis! Cardio classes are group classes that give players of all abilities an ultimate high-energy workout. Classes includes a warm-up, cardio workout, and cool down phases. Drills and games are geared towards keeping players in their target aerobic heart rate zones for optimum calorie burn and the best workout possible.

Monday Night Team Tennis (6 p.m.)

This is fun opportunity for players of all levels of ability to meet and play with other Longwood members. Our pros Larry and Magnus divide participants up into two teams for competitive matches. At the end of the evening, the losing team buys the winning team a drink at the bar. Complimentary appetizers are served on the porch after play. No sign-up necessary, just drop in!

Wednesday Night Round Robin and Dinner (6 p.m.)

This is one of Longwood's longstanding traditions -- a round robin mixer followed by a full dinner and salad bar. You can play in the round robin only, just come to the dinner, or as we suggest - do both! No sign-up required for the round robin, but reservations for dinner must be made by 2 p.m. the day before. Please see the Round Robin section of the website for more information.
